I want to leave my job.

Hello all... I am working in a IT company. I want to leave my job due to some personal reasons. I get this job from our college placement. In that company they gave us 1 and half month training which I completed. And afterwards I complete my 2 months as a employee. Now I want to resign. But they taken a 1.5 lakh Cheque without date. I signed a agreement a paper but in that there is no information about the Cheque. And that agreement is also not on a bond paper.(means I didn't sign a bond paper till now). But in call letter they said that u have to work for 2 year and 4 months. Soo please help me out how can I leave job without this Cheque money?

What does that mean if I want to leave company due to some health issue or some other reason  then also I have to pay Cheque amount. I am just an employee they don't owe me for 2 year.

please some expert give your opinion.

You have committed the same error that majority of employees commit.

You should have consulted elders in the family, labor law consultant/service matters lawyer before blindly signing on the dotted line.

Do you have copy of the agreement signed by you?

Did you and others informed College/Univ/Student Unions of such practcises by the  companies?

I have no copy of agreement. Should I ask them for agreement copy?

and I and 4 other not inform the college.

But agreement paper are normal as such other company in which common things like you are not forced to work as per government law and you wouldn't encourage other to resign the job.

this type of things are written.

One more thing I want to share is that our bond with company is not signed yet.

bond is likely to be signed in next month.

Don't sign th Bond.

Don't act in haste.

Keep elders of the family, competent and experienced well wishers, a counsel specializing in Labor/service matters by your side.

If there is  NO acknowledgment of trhe cheque  and its is not mentioned in agreement, Bond is  not  signed, then then let your counsel advise you further.

What was this training?

Was it from soem certified Instt. that would issue certificate and it would add to your qualification?

First of all thank you for the reply.

No training have no certification and not by any institute. Training was complete in their own company. One sir tell us all the things about the company products how it work, what are we doing in company, how we solve problem and all this introductory things for 45 days.

if I didn't sign the bond then they can use my Cheque against me?

is there is chance that they take one month salary as training amount?

I want to share one more thing

in agreement there is a clause which say that if you want to leave the company then you have to tell us before 3 month.

so if I didn't signed the bond and tell them that I want to leave the job then they can say that why didn't I give prior notice.

Training bon products, policies etc is to enable the employee to handle the colunters of employer and should be without any cost to employee.

It can't without wages to employee.

Do you have copy of call letter? Did you sign its acceptance?

Let your counsel advise you further, including on cheque.

Visit with elders of your family.

In future be careful.

"No training have no certification and not by any institute. Training was complete in their own company. "

how does it matter when you signed blank cheque.

Devendra   22 September 2016

I didn't understand clearly sir.

Before training they signed a  agreement paper for job.

at that time they take 1lakh and 50 thousand Cheque without date.

Let your able counsel specializing in Labor/service matters, advise you further, including on cheque.

Visit with elders of your family.
