My sister was impregnated by a person who was already married. He totally disowned her and the baby and is with his family. My sister has no contact with him and does not want to contact him at all. She has delivered a baby girl which is no 6 months old. My parents are old and my father has no idea about this baby. I plan to adopt the baby girl. My wife too is gladly accepting to adopt the baby girl. I will bring up my baby girl as my own. We are all christians.
I want to know the best way to adopt / take custody of this baby girl.
Is it enough to file a Deed Document by my sister giving us rights to adopy the baby and after which will this document be enought to file for an passport in the future and to join her in school etc?
I am looking for an early solution.
