Recently one month back I have purchased a vacant site measuring 30*40 in a private layout in Bengaluru Kalkere area (That layout has around 60 plots).
When i approached BBMP office for Khata Bifurcation & PID number (as there is no PID mentioned in Khata Certificate of layout) they said they cannot issue individual A khata as they have not received order from BBMP for Khata Bifurcation. But advised us to pay property tax for our site measuring 30*40 from 2008-09 with interest & penalty as applicable & get PID for our site.
Can you please tell us is this is the procedure to obtain PID!!
The history of the property is as below:
1. DC conversion done in 2012 & paid complete betterment charges & obtained BDA NOC & A Khatha for whole layout land.
2. Paid Property tax for 2012-13 & 2013-14 by the builder.
3. I purchased one site measuring 30*40 on 10/10/2014.
My doubt is: Why should i pay Property Tax from 2008-09 with interest when DC conversion has been done only in 2012. & also tax has been paid by the builder promptly.
Can you please guide us how to obtain PID number & What is the process, terms and conditions involved in this circumstance?
