House construction delay

Hi, I did started constitution by having a contractor, while starting the construction, we signed a contract by saying the construction will be completed by so and so date. But the contractor is not finished the construction by that date. Is the contract is still has the validity even after the construction complete date is over..? Please provide a suggestion or solution how can I proceed legally.

In the absence of a written time period in your contract, construction should be completed within a reasonable time period. Hence, where your contractor fails to complete the construction activity, you can file a civil case against him for breach of contract.

Please e-mail me at basu_kunal@hotmail.com for any further queries you may have. Would be very happy to assist you.
