Name format change in bachelors certificate

Hello, I have my name as First name - Surname format in my 10th,12th,PAN. But in my aadhar it was (Surname-Firstname) and i used the same format for my bachleors certifcate. After facing a problem in kyc i have changed the name order in my Aadhar using 10th certificate. Now when approached my college to change the order they have denied the request that one it is entered in the Book of graduates the name will not be changed. i have already taken the affidavit saying both are one and the same even though they rejected to change. format in bachelors certificate - Surname-Firstname format in Other docs - Firstname-Surname 1) Now Should i make a affidavit and publish in the gazzete and local newspapers as suggested by lawyer ? 2) If published in newspaper and all, should i tick yes option when asked about name change in any other govt examination process ? 3) Any steps to make college do the change legally ?
