Gst query

How does my friend register himself in GST if he is an individual getting paid for posting pictures of brands on his Instagram and getting paid for it? He is also a freelancer who works on projects and gets paid from other nations so for receiving payments from overseas it is mandatory to pay GST, is it possible that he can register for GST individually without opening any company? Or can he put Instagram/freelancer website as a business proof?

Vague query.. what picture and what payment. if it the amount received by way of service or sale of property then it comes under GST . Merely posting photos in Instagram shall  not comes under the act of GST. Better to  give clarity about query will be helps the forum to gives more reply and suggestions

You are required to get GST registration only if your turnover/receipts crosses the limit of Rs 20 lakh. Hi, Basis current GST laws, the limit of 20 Lakhs is applicable for freelancers/service providers.

Oh cool, is your friend an Instagram influencer? How many followers does he have? I read here how to stimulate organic following https://business-review.eu/tech/online/35-best-websites-to-buy-instagram-followers-cheap-non-drop-227973, and that the number of followers can be a great marker of social influence and recognition specific person in social networks. But it is also very important to focus on having an active account in order to earn from marketing agencies. Active followers can easily be turned into customers.
