for newly builtup property stampduty & registeration act why it is not uniform for all over India, and why it differs from state to state..

Income tax, wealth tax etc which is common for all over India how can there be different level playing for assessment of income on housing property.

Property Tax is a State subject and therefore, each State levies Tax as per the conditions prevailing in their state.

Stamp duty is a State subject whereas Income Tax and Wealth Tax are Central subject in terms of Schedule VII of the Constitution.
