My family is posting personal matter related content to HR due to issues at home.Sad part is letter is accepted,sent to HR, unofficially known to entire department,I am also called to meet HR leading to embarrassment.

Embarassment provides no cause of action, but defamation constitutes a cause for civil and criminal action.

They have started defaming my married female colleague that she had entrapped me.Although it is my personal decision to maintain distance due to financial pressure and abusive nature.My parents pressurize me to run the entire family although I have an elder brother .My brother is married.He works inconsistently.For 8 to 9 years he stayed at home doing nothing.I give them adequate financial support.I have to support my parents but not the entire gang.How do I stop my HR of entertaining them as my parents have made a joke of me .

The adffected parties can file a criminal as well as civil defamation case against the parties who have committed this offence and caused grievance

HR cannot and should not indulge in your personal matters, you should warn him/ her to restrain himself / herself or face legal consequence.

The letter was a personal letter addressed to the Head of organisation.The content was clearly personal but still HR called me to enquire issues.When I asked them to share a letter copy so that I can answer ,they refused telling it is not meant for me.Also,I anticipate that they will post such letters again to create pressure and make fun of me and other colleague as well.Please help on how do I approach HR as I can't control my parents.
