Family partition deed

we have property which is family partition, there are about 5 plots and each are about 100 metres. we want to build house on those plots but municipality is not approving plans as they want it to be sub divided before...if it is family partition then is it necessary to have this land subdivided? if not needed then what steps can i take so that i can submit to municipality to approve my plans..... can i register family partition deed? thank you very much for your help

Hi,

You better go for a partition deed (equal share for all the members-- to avoid future legal litigations) and get it registered in the concerned sub-registar office of your area, then you can apply for a building plan without any objections.

Thank you for your reply. We have registered family partition in sub registrar office but still municipality is asking for subdivision plan before they give permission to build house on plot. what should i do?
