Family dispute

It might a common problem among many households, but i would still wnat to know.... if someone is not physically harassing but mentally harassing and you get no suppot from extended family, is there any law that can help some person of that sorts

Dear Querist,

If the person 'mentally harassed' is a married lady and the person subjecting her to harassment is her husband or his relative, the law rolls out all kind of support to her.

Be specific to get a conclusive reply.

Sorry for not being specific... the harassment is towards a brother and his family who stay together. This is not related to a married couple.

If the harrassed person is MALE, there is no law to help him.

My minors daughters name was included as co owner in my flat as per  point in the decree of divorce from husband when his name was removed.  there was no gift deed or registration for the same, except her name was included in the sharfe certificate in reference to to the decree.

today she is married,  i am self dependent and now want security of my flat, is there some way my daughters name is removed from the share certificate

@ Nida- What is the harassment related to?

Nida Sahar Rafee (Software Engineer)     13 May 2012

Harassment is related to abuses, not allowing a person to use househole facilities,a times beating up also, but mostly very violent abuses... and spreading false rumors

In that case he may enforce his legal rights, if any, in the property.

Nida Sahar Rafee (Software Engineer)     13 May 2012

Does that suggest a case can be registered for such an act?

@Tina, please start a new thread in property section for your query.
