False dowry case

Respected Experts,

My brother is a Gogernment employee in SAIL & living with my parents and is married with daughter of my maternal uncle from same city since July' 2008. From just after the marriage itself, the behaviour of the girl was not good towards the family. She did not take part in household activity along with my mother and other family members. Even not behaving properly with my brother too. In May' 2009, she told my brother that she wants to go to her parent's home and went without consent of my brother. Same day when my brother called up that when should he come to pick her up, her parents denied that sending her to our house. Since her final Intermediate's exam were due so my brother and parents thought they will send her after that. They waited for long after her exams concluded and called her parents time to time to know when they are sending her or when can they come to bring her back to our house. They refused to send her. After much of mediation by respectable persons of city, they finally agreed to send her back with a condition that their daughter will not do any work. My brother brought her back in Jun' 2010. Although her attitude was of indifference but he stayed with ease. But after three months, her parents thronged our house and started verbal and physical abuse with my brother and family. And finaly she is planning and going to file a false case of torture of dowry and physical abuse on my family in Nov' 2011 on my parents and tow brothers and also for a maitenance case. Now my parents and one brother has been realised on bail. At present, anticipatary bail of my brother is dissmissed from Hon'bl Supreme Court on 11th Mar' 2013 before the Hon'bl Justice Aftab Alam & Ranjan Desai. And maitenance case is pending on district court of Bokaro, Jharkhand.

I request you learned people how to handle this situation and what can be done to prevent them to tarnish image of my family. Just for you information my father is a retired person from SAIL in Jan' 2006 and her father is also a Government employee in SAIL.

Thanks in advance for you advice.
