false allegation

was retired on 30/8/2009 As a Dy Director GSDA govt of Maharashtra.While in the service
I proposed Departmental enquiry againt Class-III employee.He suffered do to proposed enquiry therefore he got anoied now he made allegation against me that I was asking to him for money but he could gave MONEY thats why I harrased him . he is belong to reserve category he took support of castAND MADE FALSE ALLEGATION AGAINST ME.
My question is WHETHER I CAN FILE SUIT AGAINST HIM FOR DEFAMATION OF IMMAGE AND CAN I CLAIM COMPENTATION FROM HIM .THE EMPLOYEE IS ALSO RETIRED.SEEK EXPERT OPINION.

What werre the charges you framed against him in the chargesheet ?

While in service as a gazetted officer;

you have initiated disciplinary action against how many employees ?

Out of these how many were belonging to reserved community ?

While making ACRs how many reserved employees you remarked them "below average" ? And how many you "remarked" as "Very Good" and "Outstanding" ?

These questions will come up which you have to anwer if you file a case against him or he file a case against you.

While in service, did you submit your "Yearly immovale property statement" which is mandatory for all government servants ?

Your last year's statement can be called and assessment of your actual property will be done and if you have more property than your income so his allegation against you shall be proved and in that case the state will start separate inquiries and case against you.

If your side is weak in view of these points so pray tht he should not file a case against you.
