Fake obc certificate

It amounts to "Forgery & Cheating" under S. 420 and 468 if Indian Penal Code.

Submission of a fake certificate to secure a government job can be treated as a criminal offence, carrying a seven-year jail term and they will be sacked if joined the Govt Job.

@Querist,

A person committing such forgery may attract the various provisions of Indian penal Code 1860.Sections namely 465,468,and 475 and other section as the case may be.

only if he created and used to get job...but not joind that job...then what are the chargess can be file and what about the punishment..?

there is a person who has created fake obc certificate. He  used this certificate to get job but he did not join the job and currently he is doing private job.

So I want to know

if person only make false certificate---What are the charges can file on him and what is minimum punshiment may be?

If person make false certificate and use to get job but not joined that job--What are the charges can file on him and what is minimum punshiment may be?

whether he did nto join or was not seelcted.
