Eviction of licensee

Dear Experts,

If a flat, which is co-owned between two people, is leased out mutually by both on the basis of a registered leave & license agreement for 11 months but not only does the licensee refuses to vacate the flat on expiry of the license period after receiving due notice but one of the two co-owners, unfortunately, expires as well, then what legal options still remain available for the surviving co-owner to evict the errant licensee from the flat concerned? Thanks,

Kaushik.

Upon death of one of the co-owners, the interest in the house does not pass to the other co-owners but to the person named in the will of the deceased, who will then become a tenant-in-common with the surviving co-owners.
