Equitable mortgage by deposit of title deeds

Please tell me about Equitable Mortgage by deposit of title deeds can bank ask for chain documents if property is lease hold bcoz when we have purchase from old owner we not get chain documents of lease hold property but we have certified copies with us

Hi,

The bank may ask for the documents other than the title deed.. Lease hold documents are also a part of title.. but certified copies also can be produced before the bank authorities.
