I need your suggestions! Recently I joined Wipro, Noida Location and my joining date was 30th of Sept. 2014. I was told that it is a 70-80% day job. Well, I used to work for international BPOs and used to do night shifts but due to some medical issues my doctor suggested me not to do night shift so I was looking for a day job. When they told me that it would be a day job mostly I decided to join and went for the interview. Well, after joining I cam to know that
*** they have 10 hours shift which includes a break of 1 hour. (The recruiter told me that its 9 hours working... so when I questioned him about it he replied that 9 hours working and 1 hour break which makes it a 10 hours shift...)***
Whatever, I did not say anything as he got a valid point but he did not clear it prior my joining. Well, after a week or 10 days later they said we gotta do night shifts for 2 months! I raised my voice again and said if it is a 80% day job then why they are asking me/us to do night shifts for 2 consecutive months... They said during the training, we will do night shifts and after that no more night shifts (This is what the HP Spock told me) and asked me to stay as I ALREADY TOLD THEM I WILL NOT WORK ON NIGHT SHIFTS AND WANTED TO LEAVE. When the HR requested me to not to leave I talked to my doctor (who is y cousin brother) and he said I can do night shifts for a short span with some changes in therapy... So, I told the HR that I will continue and they also assured me that they will not ask me to do night shifts after training. Few days later, the HR called me again and asked me to submit all my medical documents along with a fitness certificate as I was ill since the last October (2013). I talked to my brother (He is a MD doctor in a Govt. Medical College) again and asked him to send me a fitness certificate. He sent me the same and I submitted all the documents to the HR. Couple of days later I got sick (attacked by viral fever) and could not go to office for 2 days! I informed the concern person and they asked me to take rest.. I could not go on 17th Oct, and 20th Oct. (18th and 19th were week offs) and for which they called me up on 29th and asked me why did I took those leaves... I told them that I was suffering from fever. They said during the first 6 months I can not take any leaves. I told them I know and I was not in a position to get up from my bed.. They finally said as I took leaves so I am not an employee of Wipro anymore and asked me to leave.
I have a signed offer letter and I went to office through out the month and I did not get my salary!
Now tell me guys what am I suppose to do....? Please advise me!
