Yes , but what happens to the deed of apartment which is registered in the name of old owners and filed with appropriate authority ( Registrar of co-op soc in maharashtra ) . Can new owners substitue their names in the deed of apartments in place of old owners . Is that necessary ?
Hopefully there would be register of records where new owners willget substituted. May be they insit you to produce sucession certificate issued by court in case you claim through inheritence or production of copy of sale deed if you are claiming title via transferfrom original owners.
