Correction of name in legal heir certificate

Hi Sir,

I have a doubt. My wife has got the legal heir certificate from municipal authorities. There is a name correction required in the Legal Heir certificate. She is the only legal heir for her mother. Can the name be corrected in the certificate? What is the process?

approach the tahsildhar office from where you obtained your lhc with an application for making the correction in the lhc
