Appartment

I booked an off plan apartment. The project is nearing completion. The builder has been asking for dates to take posession. There is no power supply available yet at the apartment nor are the said amenities. Am I legally in my right to delay posession till all these are ready?

Sir, you may send a legal notice to the builder and file a consumer case if he does not give possession of the apartment within notice period. You can ask for the possession of the completed flat and also ask for compensation with interest for the delay caused by the builder along with costs.

Dear Mr.Vijay,

After booking an apartment have u entered any agreement with the builder, if you entered in agreement/s  there will be clause wherein builder has to give possession within a period of such and such time, within that time he has to provide all the amenities if he is not fulfilled then you have a legal remedy.
