Is it necessary to file affidavit in support of WS in domestic violence case? If only varification statement is attached without affidavit what would be the consequence?

There is no harm in filing a written statement without an affidavit to that effect. Only a verification statement will do the trick. The filing of affidavit with the plaint or the complaint is necessary. However, there is no provision as to filing of affidavit with the written statement.

There is no provision in PWDV act to file affidavit in support of WS.

In PWDV Act there is no specific procedure laid down.
