Consumer Court Accountable to ?

To whom Consumer Court Presiding Members are acoc*ntable.... High Court or State/National Commission ?

As per the Act the presiding members of consumer courts should be accountable to the State Forum, but that does not cease the power of High Court which has inherent jurisdiction over all the Courts/ Tribunals in the State in which it exist, the reason is that against the order of consumer court appeal/revision lies both in the state forum & High Court

Distt Forum should be accountable to State Commission, State Commission is accountable to National commission .

State Commission only. The Consumer Forum have to send weekly report to the State Commission
