Dear Sir, We are 3 brothers and 3 sisters. One of the brother bought 600yds of land and registered on our mothers name 15yrs ago. My mother passed away without a WILL. I know her property will be divided into 7 shares as the father is still alive. Four of the siblings would like to build a house in that land. Because of their personal reasons, father and two siblings may not cooperate with us though we are ready to share whatever we could. Question is, can we go ahead and construct the house the way we (four of us) want? if the other three file a dispute what could they claim? Again, we are willing to share if they agree to an amicable solution. Any legal opinion is helpful. thanks
