I had a friend of mine whos cousin (from Indore MP) died some 4 weeks back. death was accidental. he was married for 4 years. he had a baby boy (5 years old)
He owned a property in Indore (Residential Flat ) which he purchased 1 year before his marriage. the registry of property was done two months after marriage as it was getting constructed in the meantime.
His mother (deceased's) was co-applicant (working at that time) in the home loan against the same property and the Loan was insured.
Now his in-laws have started putting the pressure that the property belongs completely to deceased's wife and not at all to deceased's parents (father and mother). they want deceased's parents to keep away from it with no share.
Wife is educated and working. Also wife's mother is owning multiple properties in Indore (same city of property).
Please guide me on this topic so that I can guide my friend.
