cancellation of Registered gift deed

My friend's wife filed suit on 7.8.2019 for cancellation of registered gift deed dated 7.1.2011. I filed vakalat on behalf of my friend i.e. defendant. please clarify me with regard to limitation.

A gift deed duly stamped, executed and registered cannot be unilaterally cancelled.

What if the deed is executed through misrepresentation , fraud and coercion

There is no misrepresentation or coercion. The gift deed is executed with love and affection at the time of registration.

Who made gift to whom.y Ur friends wife filed suit for cancellation ofg ift.the person who makes gift can file suit to cancel if any fraud is done.no other person can file suit to cancellation

Limitation in case of fraud depends on the date of discovery of such document or knowledge of the fraud. Three years from the date of such knowledge. Limitation is an issue of facts and law and should be decided after due trial.
