can wife( responded) file an adultery on her husband( petitioners) going through a divorce.

One of my friend. He filled for a divorced ground of 8yrs Abbandent and cruelty and he going through a divorce till 9 month and now he got one patner and having affair with another married woman who is also going throug divorced .

my friend wife is threatening my friend to file an adultery case. Can she file an adultery as criminal case on her husband ?

The wife is, I think, not an aggrieved party; the husband of the other woman is, I think.

It's, however, a ground for divorce for the wife.

Please do not assume or take such threats seriously as such things can not be established in Court. However take precautions not to expose weakness and avoid being targeted by such unethical things that may disturb peace of mind.

Whether it is your friend on some one else, these cases can not be proved unless trapped. Avoiding such risks is safe.
