Can family stay in shop

Hi, I just want to know that a shop onwer's family can stay in his/her shop at CHS ltd. Currently shop owner is staying with his son in same society and owner's daughter with her childrens want to stay in shop. Is it allowed/permit by Law/rule or society have right to object and can take action to shop owner.

If it is a commercial let out, domestic residence is not permitted, the owner may sue for eviction citing the said reason.

If I not mistaken, shops considered as commercial let out. If not, how to define the other way that shop is not on a commercial let out. Currently shop is closed (shutter down from main road and entrance is from back side, near staircase) and not running as commercial so owner would like to permit to stay her daughter in shop.

Also just one line to add that Shop is at ground floor of the CHS buliding at residential area and commercial area.

sorry for typo error. corrected is "Shop is not in commercial area".

Sir, waiting for reply for below query:

Currently shop is closed (shutter down from road side and entrance is from back side, near staircase) and not running as commercial, so owner would like to permit to stay her daughter in shop. Also shop is at ground floor of residential area.
