Applying for an ancestry will

Dear Sir / Madam,

Am in a process of applying a copy of 'Will' left by my grand father who had passed away in the year 1969. Is it mandatory to submit his death certificate while in the process of applying a copy?

Kindly advise.

yes you have to submit a attested copy of death certificate of your grandfather and affidavit , alongwith the application .
