Appealing in higher court.

Hello Everybody,

My doubt is that if a case on somebody for a non bailable offence has been continued for over a decade and  in that decade the accused didn't need to have any bail or anticipatry bail, then fortunately the accused wins the case in lower court. Afterwards the accusing party appeals in higher court. My question is that is it necessary for the accused to get anticipatry bail now?
