Any chance of filing 2nd charge sheet

HI All

in my case 498A is filed on 6 members, and charge sheet is also filed on 6 members, now is there any chance of police filing any charge sheet again citing  more allegiations etc.

the reason i am asking this is, now i want to file RTI against the police and put pressue on them to file DP3 aginst their parents and witness in my 498A.

Suggestions required.

The Police even after the presentation of chargesheet has the power to investigate further as per S.173(8). Submission of Chargesheet does not bar submission of further report. But in your case the same would clearly come out as a counter blast - so go ahead file the RTIs without worrying.

Even after the filing of the final report the police can always file a supplementary report u/s 173(8) of Cr.P.C. You can go ahead and file the RTI but the police may refuse to share the details of the investigation. If there is no sufficient material against the parents you can file a discharge petition, or go for quashing if the allegations manifest a mala fide intent.
