Amalgamated flat

Hi,

I have a purchased 2 adjacent flats (1 bedroom and 2 bedroom merged into a 3 bedroom flat), with one agreement. In the agreement the two flat numbers are mentioned seperately.  The builder also had promised that it would be considered as a single flat.

Now after formation of association, I am being asked to pay for two seperate flats. Both for maintenance and corpus funds as well.

Please advise.

Thanks a Lot for the Quick reply Sir!! In the agreement it is mentioned as 402&403 with single sale deed. I have also got Single Khatha and Single Electric meter from electricity board of Bangalore (BESCOM).

Should I pay maintenance for a 3 bedroom flat rate or for 2 seperate flats i,e for single bedroom and double bedroom seperately? They are also asking corpus fund for 2 flats. Please advise.

I can attach documents if required for your reference.

Bythe way sir, I am also a Iyengar from Hassan !! Nice meet you online.!!
