I want clarification regarding the rules of resignation. I am working in a deemed to be university as a lecturer. As it is nearing a semester break, I have given a one month mandatory notice of resignation. I heard that the hr had denied the notice period salary to another teacher during another semester break. I want to know if it is by law they are denying the salary. If it is unlawful what should i do? I have been working here for 5 years and six months. So i have to receive a sum as gratuity too. Kindly advise.
