Transfer of timeshare property to legal heir

I have a timeshare (one week per year) property in a resort with a resorts company. I am 80+ and I want this property to be automatically passed on to my legal heirs after my death. Can my legal heirs claim transfer of ownership (after my death) with the company by providing my sale deed (for time share)  and legal heir certificate.

A timeshare property can be transferred to legal heirs in India, but it requires specific legal steps such as obtaining a legal heir certificate or succession certificate, executing a will, and completing the mutation of property records to update ownership details.

The exact process depends on whether the deceased left a valid will, and all transfers require proper documentation and adherence to Indian inheritance and property laws.

The transfer of property rights should be formally registered with the sub-registrar's office to ensure the new owner's name is reflected in the official records.
