Adoption

i have been adopted by my uncle who has no children in 1970 when i was 15 years old.. partition between us done in 1971 and one share of property is transferred to my name with his wife as gardian. i diidnot change my initial till date. Is it mandatory to change initial/,

If adoption deed is registered it is enough .have ,.any one challenges the adoption

It is not mandatory to change initials just to show an adoption.
