Absconded employee

hi

i joined in a MNC,i worked fr 45days,they asked me to submit some documents related to my previeous employement,but i could not able to submit all documents which they asked.but they forced me to submit those docs which i dnt have like form16...HR was torchouring me later i submitted resignation but they didnt accept.i left the company due to few personal reasons.

after 2 months they dismissed me,later they again sent me a letter to pay 1 lakh.

now i cant pay tht amount.

please suggest me what to do ?

what action can take by that company ?

thanks MR.Sudhir for rply documents means,what documents they jus sent me a letter stating that "1 lakh rupis are outstanding which u need to pay,please pay the earliest".

You may show job advertisement, job application, interview call letter, selection letter, offer letter, appointment letter, standing orders applicable to the establishment and extended to your designation (certified/model), communication in writing demanding some documents from you, your reply that theses documents are not available, resignation submitted by you, declinature to accept your resignation, communications asking you to report for duty, order of dismissal, FNF statement issued to you for verification and acceptance, any service agreement/bond/Non Disclosure-Non Solicitation-confidentiality agreement  signed by you, your demand to pay wages of 45 days of work , your reply asking the company based on which calculation they decided that  you owe them Rs.1lac etc…………………  

 

After the issuance of the letter company can by its discretion issue legal notice and initiate recovery proceedings.

OR

 

It may not persue the matter further.

However it shall be better to close the matter in writing and on record.
