About the committee

Dear sir recently in our committee we found out miss management,  books of records were not maintained properly,  compound work was rewarded to the highest bidder by the Chairman without informing the general body, where by force the SGM was called, and general body saw all the documents and asked the leadership team to step down on the moral ground, after regular follow up from the general body, in one of the committee meetings,  secretary gave his resignation to the Chairman and one more member gave his resignation to the chairman through email,  and one of the committee member for 6 consecutive meetings never attended even one that too without giving leave of absence,  which in that meeting was unanimously accepted as non member, but secretary never mentioned that in the Minutes, but we have the recording,  chairman called the committee meeting after he received the resignation of secretary and the committee member, the meeting which he called he has not invited the secretary who gave the resignation and also the committee member who gave the resignation,  now as he has not invited those 2 members,  the strength of the committee was of 4 general members and 2 ladies members, total of 6, in that meeting 2 ladies member asked fir leave if absence due to personal reasons,  now the members who attended were 4,I believe the quorum was ok with 4, in that meeting chairman accepted the resignation of those 2 members,  and asked the committee to fill those 3 members as 2 resigned and 1 as due to not attended the meeting was out, so the committee invited 3 members and were included in the committee,  now chairman asked to select the secretary, that committee selected then secretary where chairman also was the part of that committee,  after selection of the secretary, chairman gave his resignation to the newly elected secretary,  secretary presented that resignation infront of the committee and the committee accepted that resignation of the chairman after the acceptance of tge resignation of chairman,  chairman left the meeting,  and in continuation of that meeting, the new chairman was selected,  I just wanted to know if the entire process was correct,  as the same members who has resigned are trying to challenge the entire process,  can you please guide us on this..

Call for general / special general body meeting and declare election of new MC to be conducted by an ad-hoc committee to be choosen from amongst other (non-members of current MC) members of the Society, as per rules on the subject.

Get the records inspected by "some" experts / agency after election of new MC.

The committee may not be eligible to appoint new president or secretary or office bearers 

 

If the current committee members including president resigns, an adhoc committee can be appointed temporarily appointed for the purpose of conducting the routine business of the association till an election is conducted by adopting due process of law and the new set of office bearers take over.
