Yes, a woman can be held liable for abetment of rape as held by the Supreme court in Priya singh V State of MP Appeal (crl.) 754 of 2006. The court was of the view that a woman cant be held liable for committing rape or gang rape as it goes against its ery definition ut she can be held liable for the abetement of the offence. The Section 108 of Indian Penal Code defines who is a abettor.
