sir,,can anyone please help me to inform about how to get a bc-e caste certificate..my name is taherunnisa begum and it is the same in my school and college certificates,my father's name is as karimulla khan..i belong to pathan ..can i get a bc-e certificate..it values a lot for me to get a medical seat ..

in u.p. Pathan is general caste, u can get general caste certificate from tehsildar office, u can also get minority certificate from their which may b useful for your purpose.

There is nothing called general certificate. Certificate is only for SC/ST/OBC

There is no law in india which stops a general caste person to obtain General Caste Certificate in u.p. thousand of people have this certificate and obtaining regularly.
