whom to approach?

hi all,

at the time of marriage, my in-laws and husband told me that my husband has gold jewellery shop in his name.

in their counter to dvc they stated that shop is in the name of my husband but is a benami transaction and my father-in-law has purchased it.

now i want to get certain info RTI act, that shop is in the name of my husband.

what to do and how to approach?

just to escape from giving maintenance and alimony, my husband and in-laws are telling lies. now they are telling that my husband is working in an seasonal shop.

please help.

Now, they have admitted that the shop is in the name of husband.  Hence, you need not to prove that fact by RTI in dvc case.  Now, their argument is it is a benami transaction and the shop was purchased by in-laws.  The Benami Transactoin (Prohibition) Act, 1988 has been passed and as per Section 4 of the Act, benami transaction is not permissible.  Hence, if you quote the above law and above provision, the court will treat the shop's owner is your husband and you will be paid maintenance according to that.
