Want to cancel gift land agreement

Dear Sir Please give your valuable suggestion I am sharing my problem below Total land gifted to vetenaty department - 1 bigha in 1987 Mrs X donated-adha bigha ( 1/2 bigha) Mrs Y donated-adha bigha (1/2 bigha) When gifted the land that time District -Kokrajhar. ASSAM Sub register office-Gossaigaon Revenue circle office-Gossaigaon. Land gift agreement done in Gossaigaon sub register office. No activities done by the vetenaty department in this land till 2015 and never come for official purpose. Up to 2015 no record in the name of vetenaty department in revenue circle office Gossaigaon. Now our District -Dhubri ASSAM Sub register office-Dhubri Revenue circle -Golokgonj No record in the name of vetenaty department in Golokganj revenue cirle office . The land of Adha bigha possesses by Mrs X from the beginning. We want to cancel the gift land agreement . Please suggest what should i do. From where to start . Regards Debashis 9957565268

In case of Gift of Immovable property if the deed is registered, gift is made by donor and accepted by donee the giift is complete.

It confers immediate title/ownership.

One should preferably avoid inquiring Lawyers at online portals.

There are unlimited threads at LCI also by querists that have been fleeced thru online portals.

Inquire in person locally for counsels of unshakable repute and integrity that specialize in such/civil matters, at courts complex, HC …………..

A counsel worth his/her salt refers such matters to such counsels.

This is the best you can do.

Your local colleagues, well wishers, DBA officials, unions etc etc and can also guide and help you.

In registered land gift agreement it is clearly written that after registration vetenary department should recorded the land in the name of vetenaty hospital in revenue circle office and then proceed for official purpose. But till date that gifted land was recorded in the name of Mrs X. Also having land holding certificate.
