Wakalatnama query

In a property dispute case, is it legally acceptable for a defendant who is residing abroad to sign a printed copy of a district court’s prescribed vakalatnama format (which was emailed to him by his advocate), after printing it abroad, and then send the signed original hard copy back to India for filing before the concerned District Court? Will such a vakalatnama be valid and accepted by the court?

Yes such vakaltnam will be accepted by the the court, but for filing the affidavit it should be Apostilled.

It will be valid provided he gets it attested by a notary public of that country or by an official of the Indian consulate to prove that it was he who signed this vakalatnama.
