One of my relative is having problem like this. He has given his passport to a travel agent to book a group tour for a foreign country.Due to unforeseen issues he has to discontinue the Group tour and informed the agent well in advance that he can not attend the tour. Now the travel agent is holding his passport and asking to pay for the entire tour cost, which he has not attended. Can i take legal action against the Travel agent?

Hi RajaSingh,
Yes you can take a legal action against him by sending him a legal notice to return Passport and if fails you can proceed against him legally.
