Transfer of property rules for selling

Dear Sir,

I have an agricultural land in uttar pradesh (I Live in Mumbai) which is in the name of my father and two uncles.

My father died 10 years back and one uncle expires just 4 months back.

Now i want to sell my land with the help of my relative who deals in selling of lands.

I gave all the documents 30 days back and still its not yet transfered to my and my counsins name.

I just want to know how much time it takes to register the land and also the detail procedure to sell it..

If you have given documents to sell the land, then how do you "still its not yet transfered to my and my counsins name"?

Pl. indicate whether the land was sold or not? If sold, did you get the consideration or not? Did you sign any Sale Deed before the Sub-Registrar's Office?
