Respected sir, My husband was cought for robbery in cochin. When i went to police station to give my statement ,police have asked to submit all the money he has send to me near to the dates of robbery he has done. He has also given police statement how much and when he have sent me the money. I have used the money for my personal expenses being unaware that the money was made by pledging the jewellery he has robbed. Is it necessary from my side to give police money because i was little known that money was made from theft jewellery. Because it is nearly 1lakh rupees and i will have to make the money by pledging my personal properties. Since police have got back the jewellery for the financial persons whom he have pledged it, is money to be submitted in court relating to this case from police side. It will be a great help if you can answer me on the same since i am totally unaware of legal formalities that i will have to hear others and believe them blindly.
