Tax benefit on loan borrowed/owned by dependent spouse

If my husband goes out of job who is single owner of property and sole borrower of the loan, can I claim the tax benefits of the home loan? If not, what are the possible methods in which i can claim the benefits as i will be servicing the EMI for a period of 1 or 2 years.

No. you cannot claim the tax benefits of the home loan. You can only take the benefits if you can become the co- borrower in the said loan.
