Yes, stamp duty is payable.  It used to be Rs. 500/-. Please check up the current duty.

On RS 500 stamp paper and what is percentage of market value to be paid

You are not coming with complete facts.

You asked a query whether stamp duty is payable on power of attorney for immovable property in Maharashtra.  That was answered.

Now you are talking about consideration.  Which consideration.  Consideration for what?  Come with complete facts, if you want appropriate answer.  Otherwise forget any answer, at least from me.

Supreme Court has made it clear that no conveyance of immovable property can be made by way of POA.
