Should landlord give conveyance to the redeveloper

Hello - I am a landlord of a building in Mumbai which has 11 tenants. I have been approached by a redeveloper who is promising to redevelop the building. However the redeveloper wants Conveyance at the begining for which he is willing to compensate me for. I have 3 flats of my own in the said building.

My question is should i give the redeveloper the conveyance at the begining or once the project is completed.

Thank you in advance.

Yes. You have to give in the beginning with free consent.

Thanks Rama for your quick reply. But if I give the redeveloper conveyance at the beginning I will not have say in the project if he stalls or makes any changes to the plans, correct as I will become a tenant myself after giving conveyance.
