Sale deed

Respected all,
I have purchased a chunk of land some years ago and have registered a sale deed subsequently in the office of sub registrar. But unfortunately I have not later on provided the sale deed documents to the department of revenue for the purpose of making mutation in my favour.
Now I want to know for how long the documents are valid so that a mutation can be attested by the revenue department in my favour.

With regards,
Sajad Ahmad Wani
