In a DVC case, the petitioner holds educational documents of the respondent. What is the provision under which we can seek direction to the petitioner to produce the said documents before the court and for possession of the same by the respondent under Cr.P.C. or DVC. Please enlighten.

Just serve the notice for handing over the documents to the petitioner and unless the otherside makes out a reasonable claim for retaining the documents ,and retains the same dishonestly, the offence of criminal breach of trust can be said to have been made out , file a complaint for the same ,the petitioner can also file a civil suit to recover the documents in question.
