Queries on slum rehabilitation

Hello,

I have below queries with regards to Slum Rehabilitation Scheme in Thane.

Our Society had signed development agreement (more than 70%) with builder in year 2007. However, after couple of years that same builder had introduced another builder as his partner. They signed a partnership firm.

However, later the first builder with whom we had signed the development agreements and consents fled away and was not in touch with us. Hence, we signed new development agreements with his partner under under his company's name.

Now, the present scenario is that the first builder who fled away in 2009 has came back and said he will sue our society and his partner because he was not aware of the new agreements signed between us.

Our society is not yet registered. Will that create a problem for redevelopment work in our area.

Society also sue the first builder for not implementation of the agreement. The agreement terms stipulates certain time for completition of the work. When he not completed the work in stipulated time, the old agreement may null & void. See carefully terms & conditions of the previous agreement.
