If the questioned property was self acquired property of your grandfather and the same was bequeathed by him through registered will then your uncle has no any right/share in questioned property and can not claim legally.

What is 'ancisterian property'?

Which personal law applies in this case e.g; are you all Hindu?

Confirm!

The property is at which location?

Has the certified copy of WILL been submitted to authortiy under whose jurisdictioon property falls e.g; MC along with other requisite docs e.g; Legal heir certificate, death certificate, NOC from other legal heirs/or newpaper advt was released inviting objections to WILL if any or communication were sent to legal heirs inviting objections to WILL if any in set time................?

Subsequently has the WILL been acted upon and property transferred in the name of beneficiary?

The WILL is registered and even registered WILL can be contested.
